Our Fantastic Results!
We do not simply measure ourselves based on academic outcomes, as we believe in taking a relational approach that focuses on social and emotional well-being, resilience and self-belief, which ultimately leads to outstanding results.
We aim to ensure that our students make significant progress in their education, confidence and well-being. Our young people leave with ‘Onward Pathways’ such as further education, apprenticeships, supported internships, work that aligns with their interests, the military, and more.
Our SEN, therapeutic and tutoring teams are dedicated to removing barriers to learning through our extensive additional educational needs provision. We understand that combining therapeutic interventions and emotional development programmes supports academic excellence.
We aim to kindle a love for learning by tapping into individual interests and goals. Our community is made up of aspiring individuals who are nurtured and encouraged to be creative. We strive to cater to each child and young person’s unique developmental, social and emotional needs which boosts their sense of identity and ability to flourish.
The Impact of Tuition Extra
“Tuition Extra provides a truly bespoke service to children and young people who may have struggled to access mainstream education. By recognising the individual needs of each child or young person, the team are achieving amazing results and are supporting young people to re-engage with education and with life. Ruth and her colleagues richly-deserve this award and it is inspirational to hear about the work they are doing for young people’s mental wellbeing.”
